Jules what a very interesting read, all the unsung heroes that were associated with the beginnings and the legend of Yallourn all those years ago! One always thinks of Sir John Monash's war record and history with Yallourn but Dr Mitchell's was very impressive! (I enjoy reading about the really old stuff!)

The final Save Yallourn Committee was the President, Joe Dell, Treasury, Honor Crane, and Secretary, Ted Hopkins. The two boxes of the entire information of Save The Committee was provided to me. As such, the boxes were placed in a shed of Greville Street 48-54 accommodation and offset printing places. Of terrible problem the shed and boxes were fire burned (1979?). Just a selection of items were still available for the SLV and my 2 residence.

These were printed by the Yallourn Citizens Committee; and the idea was that when you sent a letter through the post, your tore off one of the stickers (perforated) and stuck it onto the envelope. The sticker had an adhesive on the back.
