My mother Iris Sutton was relocated here as a widow (which was the practise). Mrs Garvin, the widow of her engineer husband, lived next door but one to the west. Mrs McAllister was next on the West and Mrs Densby was on the East side. She was also widow also of a salaried staff member. It seems they didn't mix the wages staff housing with the salaried staff housing!!!!! Very English class system perhaps.
Iris left in 1969 to move to live in Warragul with her daughter Geraldine and her husband.
