26.9.12...Sad to say, Sonja Bates (Ostlund) passed away yesterday, Tuesday, 25 September 2012.
Sonja was always helpful to everyone and had such a bright, outgoing personality. She will be sadly missed by her friends at Yallourn Old Girls' Association and on behalf of the Committee and Members, we offer our sincere condolences to Sonja's family.
On a personal note, I will always be grateful for the guidance and carefree approach Sonja taught me in dealing with situations - firm but friendly. We will miss her greatly at our committee meetings and Yallourn reunions...Julie
