Edward (Ted) was a teacher at Yallourn Technical School.
No 1 Ridgeway West was the convent.
The Herbert family was only in Yallourn for a few years (1964-67). Ted passed away in early 1966 and so they shifted back to Geelong in 1967. Ted is buried in Yallourn Cemetery.
