Margaret Huther (Jenkins) YHS 1953 Sent some photos and wrote: I have been receiving the YOGA newsletter for many years and enjoy reading about people I went to school with. I have been to many reunions but don't always meet many mates of my era. I attended the reunion at Moe 5 years ago. My sister, Kath Peruzzi (Jenkins) and I lived in Morwell and travelled on the bus to YHS along with many others. I really enjoyed my 5 years at YHS playing sport, flirting with the boys, and having mostly great teachers. Kath still lives in Morwell. I went to Burwood Teachers College in '1958 & 1959 and then taught around for 1 year. Married Laurie in March 1961 and moved to Wonthaggi where his family has the Ford and Nissan Motor Garage. We have been happily married for 42 years, have 3 sons and 7 grandchildren. Brenda Sewell and Judy Goldsborough were 2 of my friends. Still have contact with Brenda who lives in Wagga Wagga. Good to see the familiar names and stories of students I knew while at YHS. The Mclnnes girls, Pam Tulloch, Jan Graham, Mary Bennett, Jenny & John Scott. I taught with Marg McKissock at Monvell HS in 1960. I enjoyed the interschool sports, marching group with Wally Cass and going to the Olympic Games in 1956 was a highlight. My interests have been playing tennis, following football, indoor and outdoor bowls and travelling in our caravan around Australia. lf by chance any of my school friends are passing through Wonthaggi, call in at the Ford Garage and they will direct you to my home.
