LAURIE SHIPP 1929-2020
Following an earlier article, regarding the death of Janis Shipp (as posted on Virtual Yallourn-9/4/2020), more sad news came to hand when it was learned that Laurie had passed away at the Japara Goonawarra Aged Care Home, at Sunbury, on Saturday 18th April.
Laurie was born in 1929; and, as mentioned previously on this website, married Janis in 1947. An article and a stunning photograph of Laurie and Janis can be found on this website (scroll down the page).
It has been a particularly testing time for all members of the Shipp family; and all readers of ‘Virtual Yallourn’ join in expressing their heartfelt sympathies to Ross, Deb, Leeanne and family.
