The girl left of Kris Henry could be Julie Kirshner and the girl to the right of Kris looks like Bev Robertson

The boy 1st on left 3rd row probably is Ray Loft, the boy in the 3rd row -3rd form the right is Ken Gray

It's Aileen, not Ann. Thanks Kevin. And I reckon you're right about Julie Kirshner. She has a younger sister, who started YHS in 1963, Michelle or Bronwyn or !! During my time at YHS, 1963 -67, I remember at least four boy's who had names the same as cigarettes Peter Jackson one of them and I'm sure a Peter Styveston (spell check), Peter Craven,
Thanks for info. on Trent Hotton, which I Googled, then found You Tube on Gary Crane (Carlton) from Yallourn North.

Hi Pauline, I cant think of the name of Julie K's younger sister - its not either of the ones you have mentioned - I will get there though. gary Crane was married to Mary Kelly - but they are no longer together. Gary was quite sick some years back. Mrs kelly dies just the other day. Mr kelly (Frank) used to play for Collingwood as well.

Evening Kevin, Mary Kelly was the eldest, then girl and boy Lucky. They lived behind and were friends with Judy Stevens and family. I barracked for Collingwood for many years, then followed Leigh Matthews to Brisbane, now Louise and I members of Richmond. I will ask my brother about the Poole brother who was shot in the eye.

Julie Kirshner is left of Kris Henry (looking at the picture) and Bec Robertson is to the right. I thinki the girl in the 2nd row 4th from the left (looking at the photo) is Moira Irvine

Hi Pauline, I think we may have the Kelly's mixed. The family I am referring to are John Kelly, Mary Kelly, Aileen Kelly and Happy (Frank) Kelly. I am sure there are a couple of others as well. The age order is definitely John, Mary Aileen and Happy. The others I think are older. Maybe it is the same family - "lucky" might be "Happy" - the older ones were a bit older Mary is my age - we were in the same grade in Primary School in Yallourn

Hi Kevin, You are right, it's Happy, not Lucky (he is Tabone family). I'm sure Kelly's lived in Yallourn North, top of the town. Tangey's lived bottom of town. I asked my brother about the Poole boy who was shot "it was an air rifle". He couldn't remember if it was a brother who fired the shot, or mates just messing about.
