I remember being babysat by Dulcie (Teddy) Harris and a barmaid from the Moe RSL at the time, late 40s or early 50s. I remember Steve (Rhubarb) Harris talking about his trip over to Morwell on the bus. I lived at this address for the first 2-3 years of my life; then moved to 9 Fairfield Ave in 1951. Jan Turonek's dad doing feats of strength and stamina and endurance etc. Meeting a young woman named Jane when I was in a cot. My dad skipping rope to keep in shape for the Fire Brigade Demonstrations. I remember taking my first steps in that house and listening to Adrian Quist with a tennis on radio. I remember the night I arrived at that house. I was in the back seat of a taxi driven by Tony's father Mr G, and a young lad named Leon. Listening to Adrian Quist winning a tennis tournament. I took my first footsteps in this house and dad skipping the rope fo his Fire Brigade Demonstration. 1938 Chev...Wayne

Very young - loved climbing over gate - brothers went under. Remember pushing the big brown pram down to our Fairfield house. When we had the measles, mum put us all in the one room - sharing is caring!....Pauline
