I think the girl to the immediate left (looking at the picture) of Margaret Lewis is Tessa Johnson

I think the boy in the front row - 2nd from the right hand end (between Colin Murdoch and Murray Champion) is Wayne Jacobs

MURRAY CHAMPION, son of Mary (Mollie) and Albert (Bert) both dec from 27 Driffield Road sadly passed away very suddenly at home on Sept 29 at Skenes Creek (Sth West Victoria).
A memorial gathering will be held at the Skenes Creek Estuary on November 11 (Murray's birthday) at 1pm and a plaque memorial will be unveiled in honour of his outstanding contributions to the community. Anyone that knew Murray is most welcomed to attend.

Between Peter Charleston and "Bill" Abery is either Chris or Doug Robertson. Think it's Chris. Doug is in the next row on Peter Pooley's left. The Robertson's lived opposite the pub. Mrs R made great pies and pasties which the boys and others sold at the pub. They later moved to Moe.
Yes it's not Wally Abery nor Bill, but Peter Abery. Bill was Peter's nickname - think that Bill was his father. John White could confirm as they lived in the same street.
Next to Bert Hopman is Barry Davis - from Hernes Oak.
Is it Alan Ashmore or Graham Coburn?

No, I don't think we began school in Yallourn until 1959. She was three years ahead of me, so would have been in fourth grade, I think, when I was in first grade.

Its not Peter Abery as he was in my grades at school - same age as me. Ken was 10 years older than us.
