| Yallourn Swimming Club by Arthur Brogan (circa 1991) and footnote by Kevin Brogan (2015) | The Club was established down on the Latrobe River in 1930. It was located on the road to the Town Water Supply Pump House. The site is still accessible today from the same road which starts opposite Yallourn W Power Station, however it has changed a lot since the early swimming days. |
| Yallourn Story Animation | I made this film back in 2006 as part of a show down in the Latrobe Valley as part of the commonwealth games cultural festival. To make the film I interviewed a number of YOGA members and other former residents of the town (whom, I'm sure, some of you will recognise) and then worked with the kids at the Yallourn North Primary school to animate their stories. |
| Yallourn Sign Query | Does Anyone know anything about this Yallourn Signage up near the reservoir somewhere? What was it for? It was obviously meant to be seen from the air. Why was it there? When was it put in? I had heard a rumor it was installed during the war to try and confuse potential bomb droppers but I'm not sure how much truth there is in this. |
