My family was the only tenant of this house, from when my parents moved in, in the 40s till my mum moved out as a widow in around 1979?. There were my sisters Maureen & Eileen & myself. The house plans differed slightly. The chimney was on the left outer wall of the lounge & the front verandah faced to the left of the house toward the driveway, which ran down the left side of the house. Neighbours to the left were the Robbies, Montgomery & last tennant was Jack Bryant. A camelia shrub from the front yard was relocated to my parents in laws in Yallourn North & is still going strong.

Very busy raising money to build ambulance station - also involved with guides, our two daughters (Annette & Brenda) both becoming Queen Guides...Joy Building the ambulance station, playing in the paddock with all the kids around. Walking to and from school. Attending Girl Guides...Annette
