Wonderful time to grow up. We spent hours playing with the neighbourhood kids. We were never indoors. We had our cubby houses and always found plenty to do. Houses were never locked. Mr & Mrs Andrew had a farm and we visited them a few times before they finally moved from Yallourn to the farm. Back then, when we had visitors, mum would spend hours preparing supper. It was never just biscuits. This is how it was in those days.
