In the mid 70’s Mrs. Brogan in No. 2 won the prize for the best garden in Yallourn and we, in No 1, won the 3rd prize. So the entry into the street from Coach Road was very pretty. Mr. Dell the Grade 6 teacher from the Primary school, lived in this street also.
