The Lee family lived in the National Australia Bank house on the corner of Broadway West (for the manager and their family) next door to us at No.1 Westbrook Rd. Their daughter, Sandra, and I became close friends until they moved away in 1963 (I think it was 1963, but it's getting hard to remember all the dates!)

Photo taken from the garden of our house at No.1 Westbrook Rd soon after we first moved in. The guesthouse is on the left and the house where the Gregory family lived is on the corner opposite. We soon became friends with them.
